We all have them. Mine happens to be Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels.
Yes, I’ve been a huge Kiss fan from the time I was a little girl. So to get an inside look into the life and family of such an iconic rock star is pretty cool.
This is the one show I think would make a great romance novel. I think I’ve said that once before in a post on my blog, but look at the show. Examine the people. The Heroine-Shannon Tweed. She has strength, beauty, wealth. Fatal Flaw-Insecure, De-values self.
The Hero-Gene Simmons. Arrogant, wealthy, a provider. Fatal Flaw-Selfish and a womanizer.
Keep in mind this is my opinion of what is projected on TV.
If you’ve been keeping up you know the relationship reached critical mass and Shannon walked out. To make a long story short, Gene sought counseling, proposed to Shannon and now they’re planning a wedding.
Oh yeah. This fairytale is far from over. The episode I walked in on had Shannon in a coffin. Part of the therapy process was a Couples’ Bootcamp. Let me tell you, just watching it was intense. What can you say to a loved one when he/she is dead? The ‘I’m sorries’ and ‘please forgive me’ are too late. So whether your guilty pleasure is a reality show, chocolate bonbons or the latest release from a Whispers Author. Live each day as if it were your last and tell that special someone how much he/she is loved.
