Nature of the Beast by Juliet Cardin On sale date: 4/16/2010 Category: Erotic, Romance, Paranormal
Description But before their good intentions would see her put into an old-folk’s home, Ruby decides to solve the dilemma herself. To ease her family’s fears, she decides to create a nurse from a sweet, white dove. She could then continue to romp and play uninhibitedly as she wishes with Tarock in her own home. Plans go awry when a black raven swoops in through an open window in the attic and spoils Ruby’s spell. The raven attacks the dove in the magic circle just as the potion is thrown, turning the raven into an evil, vile man. A short battle ensues and Ruby and Tarock are forced to flee the house. The pair take refuge in the yard and passion overtakes them in the close confines of the tree house they’re reduced to staying in. Being in the yard isn’t such a hardship for the couple. The grass is soft and accommodating beneath the moonlit nights they share together, until Ruby’s family arrives for a visit. Ruby must then summon all of her witch’s skills to outsmart the raven-man and save her precious granddaughter from a terrible fate.
