The Roman General Iairus is captured by the fresh faced beauty of Alexia, a highborn young lady. He wishes to have her as a reward for his services to his country. Famed for his prowess and feared by friends and foe alike, Iairus is used to having his own way. But his erstwhile choice Alexia spurns him for she doesn’t like him or his arrogance in just wanting her as if she were a thing and not a person.

Given his position of favour with the emperor, he has his way and kidnaps her. But a battle ensues between both of them where misunderstandings threaten to defeat Alexia’s fight against being his woman and Iairus has to learn that love can conquer all.
